Our geocaching adventures

When we are out geocaching we go to various places to find caches. We sometime go hiking in the mountains, or along some of the trails in the foot hills of the area, or some of the local bike paths, all in all we have fun at it. Here is a video that we made of us finding caches and our adventures that we had. Enjoy the video and the scenes in the video.

One of the geocaches that we found earlier this year

Here is a video we made of us hiking to and find a geocache that we were able to find in May of this year. In order to find this cache, we had to find a series of caches that led up to this one. It was an awesome cache to find. Have fun watch the video of us find the cache.

Travel bugs and Geocoins

We go geocaching we like to find geocoins and travel bugs. We have some of our own that are in different area of the country. We have made a couple video showing how to log travel bugs and geocoins, so that other cachers that are new to geocaching have an understanding on how it works. Here is one of the videos that we made. Have fun watching it.

Cool video

The other night we were watch some videos on youtube and this was one that we thought was awesome. It would be cool to find out how to do a cache like this here in our area.

Last week of the year

Its hard to believe that this is the last week of the year 2010. It is already 10 years into the new century and things just seem to going the way they were 10 years ago. I guess life has its ups and downs for all of us these days. Well, I would have to say that if we had known about geocaching in the year 2000, we would have a lot more caches than we do. We have been actively geocaching since the 23 of March 2008, and we have found 2,543 caches. We realize that there are a lot more we can find, and we will eventually cache in other states. We have only really been caching in Utah, and a few caches in Arizona, just south of the St. George area, throught Nevada along I-15 down to Las Vegas, and we have a lot more that we could find in those states as well. We wish there was a way that we could travel the US and sight see and go geocaching. That would a trip of a life time and could take months to do.

For now it is dealing with the issue of looking for employment figuring out what we are going to do come next week. We are hoping and praying that things will work out for us here, although, it we need to, we might move to St. George to live with my parents until we are able find employment and get back on our feet. We have been doing things here as far as applying for employment, without any luck, we do know that things will work out though.

The Swamp Mash Cache

We have a geocaching that is right out our front door. This cache is called The Swamp M*A*S*H Cache TB/GC Hotel . We use it to put travel bugs and geocoins in it that we plan on moving to another cache. The name of the cache is from the T.V. series MASH. We enjoy watch MASH when we are able to. We have all eleven seasons on DVD. We also have other caches named after either MASH characters of episodes or a theme we thought was good for the cache. It is a fun way to express ourselves. Geocaching is a great way to get outside and anyone can have fun with it. We enjoy it a lot.

Wow a new Blog!!!

It has been awhile since I actually wrote something on a blog, and I am hoping that I will be able to do better at writing on this blog on a daily basis in the coming year. Lets hope anyways.
